Class size is limited to no more than 16 participants with seating reserved to the first 16 registration applications received.  Pre-registration is required, NO "walk-in's" are admitted,  Classes fill up quickly, so please mail your registration with deposit in early to reserve your seat.

NOTE:
 
The CCW Certification course is NOT a basic firearms training course.   Applicants, in addition to passing a written proficiency test, are required to demonstrate safe, proficient, and competent gun handling skills in the use of their handgun(s) and pass a live-fire range qualification. 
 
Firearm Qualification:  Prior to having an additional handgun added to an existing CCW Permit, the permit holder is required to qualify with the specific handgun they want to add.  To qualify, the applicant must demonstrate safe, proficient, and competent gun handling skills in the use of their handgun in the "live-fire" range qualification.  The “Firearm Qualification” is NOT a firearms training course, it is specifically for the CCW Permit holder wanting to add an additional handgun to their existing permit or for the CCW applicant that failed the initial range qualification and wish to try again. 


 
Military & Law Enforcement Discount: 
 
We at Gold Country Firearms are strong supporters of our men and women in the Military and Law Enforcement, so in recognition of their service to our country and community, we offer a 10% discount off the standard Basic Handgun and CCW (non-renewal) course tuition, with proof of service and/or employment, to the immediate family members of those on active duty in the Military or currently working in Law Enforcement.
